Sometimes, a customer may want to make changes after a deposit has already been made on their quote. When creating an updated quote, QuoteMachine allows you to transfer this payment made on the original quote to the new quote.

To transfer a deposit to the new quote, first, click "receive payment" within the new quote.

From here, click the payment type dropdown menu, and select deposit as the payment type.

Next, select the appropriate deposit you would like to transfer to the new quote and click Apply Payment. Note, the deposit being transferred must be of equal or lesser value to the deposit balance on the new quote.

Once the deposit has been successfully transferred to the new quote, this balance will no longer be available on the original quote, and an alert will be visible in the quote history feed below the quote.
