Step-by-step instructions on setting up the HubSpot integration with QuoteMachine.

The QuoteMachine app in HubSpot is a powerful tool that allows you to create various QuoteMachine documents such as Quotes, Orders, and Invoices directly from your HubSpot deals. This integration streamlines your workflow and saves you time by eliminating the need to switch between multiple platforms.

Connecting HubSpot to QuoteMachine

To use the QuoteMachine app in HubSpot, you will need to first install the app. This can be done by going to the integrations listing page on the QuoteMachine website.

  1. Navigate to the HubSpot tile

  2. Click Add Integration

  3. Click Connect with HubSpot

If you do not have a HubSpot account, click Create a new HubSpot account. If you already have a HubSpot account, click on Sign in to your HubSpot account.

Once you are signed into your account, you will be asked to connect your QuoteMachine account to your HubSpot account.

  1. Select your QuoteMachine account

  2. Click Choose Account

Next, review the access request and click Connect app.

The final step will be to save the Portal ID displayed in QuoteMachine.

Voilà! Your QuoteMachine account is now integrated with your HubSpot account!

What else do I need to know?

  • Upon connecting HubSpot to QuoteMachine, all Users in both apps will be mapped to each other based on their email address.

  • If a new QuoteMachine account was created when connecting from the HubSpot Marketplace, all users from the HubSpot account will be created in QuoteMachine account and mapped accordingly.

  • The HubSpot User who performed the installation will be the QuoteMachine account admin by default. The remaining users will assigned the Salesperson User Role unless they are a super admin in HubSpot.

  • When creating new QuoteMachine Users, you will have the option to map them to their HubSpot User.

  • The Deal Owner in HubSpot will become the Document Assignee in QuoteMachine based on the first condition met below

    • A QM user whose email address is the same as the HubSpot deal owner’s

    • A QM user who is linked to the HubSpot deal owner based on the user mapping

    • The QM user who installed the QM app

  • Browser pop-ups need to be authorized for for the Documents created from Deals to open after creation.

  • Some Actions opening a modal may not work in Incognito Mode.

  • We do not import contacts from HubSpot. Only contact from a Document created from the QM Panel in HubSpot will import.

  • We do not support contact merging.

  • We disregard HubSpot companies unless the company is the primary company of one of the HubSpot contacts assigned to the deal.

  • We do not sync your HubSpot Product Catalog.
