Lightspeed's Price rules (see Lightspeed's help article about Price Rules) can also be applied within QuoteMachine Quotes, Sales Orders, and Invoices

How to activate support for price rules in QuoteMachine

Lightspeed's Price rules application is controlled by a setting.

Open the Lightspeed Integration settings from QuoteMachine (Menu "Settings" - "Integrations").

Make sure to turn on the "Apply price rules" option and save.

How and when updated price are displayed

When is the price rule applied

Price rules are applied to items once they have been added to the pricing table (products showing in the search view would show the price before price rule application).

How is the updated price displayed

The updated price would provide visual feedback about the price rule to the customer (e.g. struckthrough price), only if the price rules consisted of applying a predefined discount.

The two screenshots below show that price rules defined with a discount show a struckthrough price in QuoteMachine with the discount applied

On the other hand, if the price rule does not consists in applying a predefined discount. The customer will not be aware of the effect of the price rule.

The two screenshots below show that price rules without a discount won't show a struckthrough price in QuoteMachine

Troubleshooting price rules (what can I do when I think the price rule is not working)

Price rules are defined in Lightspeed and, unless you forgot to activate the "Apply Price Rules" option from QuoteMachine, you likely have to look in Lightspeed to check if everything is correct.

Recommended steps: Try to create a sale from the Lightspeed register and check from here if the price rule applies correctly. If not, adjust the price rules until it works in Lightspeed (see Lightspeed's help article about Price Rules).

About discount levels on customer profile

Discounts defined directly on the customer profile in Lightspeed, are not the same thing as price rules. However, they are also synchronized with QuoteMachine and will apply in QuoteMachine (keep in mind it can take up to 5 minutes for an update to a customer profile made from Lightspeed to be reflected in QuoteMachine).

The two screenshots below show how a Discount set in the customer profile in Lightspeed is also visible from QuoteMachine
