QuoteMachine can turn a Quote into a Work Order in Lightspeed Retail (R-series)
Lightspeed Retail's work orders are flexible enough so you can use them as sales orders or manage service requirements through them.
From a Lightspeed Work Order, you can also invoice partially or completely thanks to QuoteMachine.
This article recapitulates all the steps needed to activate the feature.
Install QuoteMachine's Browser Extension for Lightspeed
The extension will add shortcuts to the POS interface to ease the navigation between Lightspeed and QuoteMachine and is a requirement to turn a Quote into a Lightspeed Work Order automatically.
If you're using Google Chrome as your web browser
If you're using Firefox as your web browser
Enable the Service module in Lightspeed Retail
Lightspeed Retail's Service module must be active so you can see the Work Order menu.
Make sure taxes are set to be applied on orders in Lightspeed Retail
Access your shop settings from Lightspeed Retail
Check the box next to "Tax Labor/Service" under Tax Setup and click "Save Changes"
